Mercusys MR47BE BE9300 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router is designed as a Wi-Fi 7 platform for homes that require high wireless capacity, multi-gig wired connectivity and flexible whole-home coverage options. The router supports tri-band operation with one 6 GHz band, one 5 GHz band and one 2.4 GHz band, delivering aggregate wireless speeds up to 9.3 Gbps according to Wi-Fi 7 physical rate specifications. On the 6 GHz band, channels up to 320 MHz wide and 4K-QAM modulation allow higher throughput compared with earlier Wi-Fi generations, while the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands maintain compatibility with a wide range of existing client devices. Multi-Link Operation can use links on different bands simultaneously to increase throughput, reduce latency and improve reliability when paired with compatible Wi-Fi 7 clients. The MR47BE provides one 2.5 Gbps WAN port and three 2.5 Gbps LAN ports so wired devices such as PCs, smart TVs, game consoles or NAS units can use multi-gig connections when supported by the broadband plan and cabling. Six external omni-directional high-gain antennas with integrated amplifiers and Beamforming focus signal strength toward connected devices, helping to extend coverage and maintain stable links through walls and across larger floor areas. EasyMesh compatibility lets the MR47BE form a mesh network with other EasyMesh-capable devices, creating a single network name and seamless roaming as users move around the home. Network management is handled through the Mercusys app for iOS and Android or a web interface, both of which guide setup and allow ongoing configuration. Built-in parental controls support user profiles, online time limits, website blocking and connection pausing to supervise access for family members. WPA3 security strengthens protection against brute-force attempts, improves forward secrecy and uses 128-bit encryption to help safeguard personal data and devices on the wireless network.
