Mercusys MB135-4G AC1200 Wireless Dual Band 4G LTE Router is designed to share mobile broadband over a dual band Wi-Fi network for multiple devices at home, in a remote location or in a temporary setup. The router uses 4G LTE Cat 4 technology with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps and distributes this connection via Wi-Fi speeds up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. A nano SIM card slot supports FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE bands compatible with many service providers, allowing conversion of a mobile network into a local wireless network after inserting an unlocked SIM card. Two detachable external LTE antennas and two external Wi-Fi antennas help maintain stable links and allow optional replacement of LTE antennas to adjust signal reception and coverage when needed. The MB135-4G can connect up to 64 wireless clients such as phones, tablets and laptops simultaneously and also includes a LAN/WAN port so it can operate as a standard router with cable, fiber or DSL modems as a backup to 4G service. Configuration and monitoring are available through the Mercusys app for Android and iOS, which provides parental controls, guest network setup, data limit and usage statistics and SMS message viewing and alerts related to data usage.
