Buy Review: Quality and reliability. - My trusty s500 finally gave up after nearly a couple of decades of service. Replaced with this and couldn’t be happier. All the good of the original there and then this is better in every way - faster, higher quality and perfect deskewing every time, even on slightly mangled pages. Even better can scan straight to my NAS without the computer even needing to be on, which also overcomes some of the historic Mac driver/software uncertainty. A additional nice touch is ability to set 1-off manual mode easily from the little screen on the device. Do I wish it had been cheaper? Of course. But would I recommend this - absolutely. If you have a huge stack of paper you need to digitise, this does the job incredibly well. Fingers crossed this one lasts for as long. Review: Amazing - I love this scanner. I've always bought printer/scanner combos before but after my last printer failed for no reason I refuse to buy another printer and there insanely priced ink. However, I can't do without a scanner so after some research I decided on the ScanSnap iX2500. It's pretty expensive but it's so worth it. The speed with which it scans multiple pages is amazing. I would higly recommend this printer to anyone. The only downside is that it will only work over wifi which is bizarre. Even if your PC is on the same network bu hardwired it won't see it. Luckily, I have a wifi dongle in my PC so I can scan to my PC. That said scanning to my iPhone is a breeze anyway and then you just transfer it using iCloud or Google Drive.
