The zoom is real smooth and the focus isn't too bad either. It seems to grab a sharp focus when close, but I know that's just my imagination. Very good though. Pretty easy compared to others, and not a bad range of adjustment, especially for a dome camera. I use the cheaper bullet ones when I don't need zoom, but don't like to give up any sharpness/color. This one is hard to beat and not too pricey certainly for what it gives you. Solid & hefty, too. No cheap plastic. Review: Great for outside, but not good for in your house. - I’ve had three for 33 months. The images from them still look great. No issues. Excellent picture day and night. Just bought some more and installed them. They’re great.
