Review: Long overdue re-review - I bought a Zosi 24 channel 16
camera POE system 16Jul24. I got my system operational last
summer, but have waited till now 06Feb25 to update my review to
allow my review to reflect more than just new owner euphoria. The
short story is: this is a great system. My ISP provider exchanges
data thru 5G (like smart phones do). Most ISP provider devices
limit DHCP to an relatively small number of IPs thru a quota. If
my camera system used IPs generated from my ISP providers device,
there would not be enough; the quota is too small. Fortunately
however, mesh routers are now taking over this role, so if you
use a good mesh router system, this camera system will work well.
My system is for a 2 story home, so my ISP providers 5G signal is
received in a 2nd story window wirelessly. The LAN side goes to
my top level mesh router in a closet via Ethernet cat6. The top
level mesh router both broadcasts/receives LAN signals to
2.5G/5.0G wifi, and also to a local 16 port hub WAN side via a
short cat6. The hub moves LAN data via cat6 to other rooms where
2 other mesh routers extend the wifi throughout the house. One
additional mesh router in a secure server room
broadcasts/receives wifi signals from the other mesh routers, and
also connects to the 16 camera POE system thru cat6, but has no
direct cat6 line to the other mesh routers. All devices are on
APC (battery backups). I have now had this operating for 6
months, and generally the camera system is reliable (on my phone
from anywhere and/or my wife's tablet, and/or the system console
HDMI monitor). Since each camera also has its own security light,
potential intruders get lit up and video recorded. I am very
happy with this product!
Review: 16 cameras and GREAT results!! - I bought the ZOSI 4PACK

Camera for 960H/ 720P / 1080N / 1080P Analog DVR Systems cameras
to start replacing a 10 year old camera system already in place
that was starting to become more of a nuisance than a
surveillance system. The old cameras became so bad that someone
walking directly in front of the cameras couldn’t be identified
10 feet away. Because I work in a prison, I have higher security
surveillance in some areas and less critical lower security
surveillance in others. I chose 3 different camera styles with
different viewing capabilities for the areas I was trying to
surveil. One of the requirements I had to have was total
compatibility with my current system and there was no problem
with any of the cameras that I hooked up- basically plug and
play. After reviewing footage of these cameras, I was extremely
impressed with the clarity of the video and in the application I
needed these cameras for, I had to have a wide angle view to
cover a lot of ground. I then installed 2 (for a total of 8
cameras) ZOSI 4 Pack 2.0 Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1
TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day Night Waterproof Camera
100ft IR Distance For HD-TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR
System cameras for roof placement and my larger areas like the
gymnasium. While I was installing one of the cameras, as soon as
it was turned on, it fogged up and gave me a “No Signal” error. I
replaced it with a spare that I had and had no further problems.
Image quality was phenomenal and I had better coverage than my
previous setup. The last 4 cameras I bought were ZOSI 2.0
Megapixel HD 1080P 4 in 1 TVI/CVI/AHD/CVBS Security Cameras Day
Night Waterproof Camera 65ft IR Distance, Compatible for HD-TVI,
AHD, CVI, and CVBS/960H analog DVR ones that replaced some of my
internal cameras around our Culinary department and visiting
areas. And again, I had no complaints with the quality of the
images. After about a month of continuous use, one of my first 4
cameras displayed images that began to turn green, then purple,
and then faded to black. I had lost the image completely. As I
only had access to email since I work graveyards and most people
are comfortably asleep in their beds, I contacted Zosi Customer
Service and explained the circumstances of my failed cameras.
Within a day, Coco had contacted me for more details of the
malfunctions. After I sent model and serial numbers for the
defective cameras, she sent me two replacement cameras without
waiting for the faulty ones to be sent in. For me, that was a
first! The usual process has always been- File a claim, wait for
a return label, wait for the company to receive the product, then
wait some more for them to tell me it was something I did, then
argue back and forth until they reluctantly send me a
replacement. In this case- not a single complaint about how the
claim was handled and Coco was absolutely great! She was able to
get back with me within a day or two at most and had all my
questions answered and new cameras sent to me- all right before
Christmas! Thanks for such an awesome experience!!!
