Also equipped with an eye sensor, the image monitor turns off at the same time as looking through the viewfinder. This prevents the screen's illumination from affecting visibility during shooting, while allowing you to capture images more comfortably. [Top ISO sensitivity of 1.6 million] Achieves excellent descriptive power in the entire sensitivity range. Multi-dimensional image space filtering reduces noise while leaving fine contours. It maximizes the resolution performance and reproduces the texture and details of the subject. [5-axis 5.5-shutter-step in-body SR mechanism SRII] Effective on all compatible lenses allows you to expand the limits of handheld shooting. [Dust-proof / weather resistant construction / Magnesium body on the entire chassis] Thorough dust-proof and weather resistant construction with 95 seals on the body prevents water droplets and dust from entering for great outdoor performance. High-strength and lightweight magnesium alloy is used for the entire camera chassis which achieves a body that is strong against impact and has excellent durability. [Up to 12 images per second high-speed drive] With the newly developed mirror, shutter drive system and high-speed image processing of the PRIME V image engine, high speed continuous shooting of approximately 12 images per second in AF.S mode and approximately 11 images per second in AF.C model is achieved. [SAFOX13 autofocus system with 101 focus sensors] The number of AF points has been increased to 101 points. The AF coverage area has also been expanded to achieve highly accurate subject capture.
