Review: Works but check compatibility for full 360 experience -
Considering the price tag of under £14 (at this review) this good
and fun. But it isn't fully compatible with older phones and some
phones may be a bit heavy for prolonged use. The remote control
is a real bonus and you can skip to another video without having
to take the device off. I tested on my Samsung s25 ultra, but it
was a bit big. Then I tried on an older Motorola E30 and the 360
effects didn't work as well. It could be due to older OS. The
straps are comfortable and adjustable too.
Review: A bit heavy - I have never owned a VR headset before - so
this one looked very reasonably priced. I like the portable
handset - its very well designed. Now I encountered some problems
with using this. Once I had the phone clipped in the device
became very heavy and there is no felt lining for the ridge of
ones nose - so its uncomfortable. Secondly I wear glasses and
cannot use these with this device. If your glasses are 13cm or
wider, they won't fit inside the VR set. The VR headset has
focussing knobs but I couldn't get it to focus well with my
glasses off. The best I could get was some blurry 3D images.
Holding it at a distance I could obtain focus, but noticed the
images were a bit pixelated. Be aware that the handset needs two
AAA batteries and these are not included. I'm sure that some
people (without glasses) will find this useful.
