When i received it, the size was smaller than expected after assembly i tried it on a stacked 8oz veg-tan leather (16oz) and it functioned perfect without slowing down, The variable speed was sensitive enough to fine tune the speed and is pretty quite and high RPM, everything seemed balanced and almost no vibration. Edge finishing just got a lot fast and easier.. The Instructions / Assembly could use a little work but was able to figure it out. This came very well packed with each component protected. If i could just change one thing, it would be size and location of the mounting holes to attach to a workbench. however your don;t have to attach it, it's pretty stable and has 4 rubber feet to keep vibration down an it stayed put except when i was really pushing in on the leather when sanding. It is worth the cheap price compared to what these are selling for at Leather shops! Review: Power in a small package. - This item works great.
