Like it has different speeds. It whines up never heard it bog down as Im sanding. Review: Powerful workhorse - This thing is a beast. It is heavy and powerful. It was easy to assemble - just bolt on the handle. I am not sure which drum to use or what they are intended to do and the instructions don't provide any clarity. I have only used it once for about 1/2 hour, so I don't have enough experience to offer much feed back.
