Fun to race for the kids and the adults in the household. We have used both batteries and power cord, but ended up switching just to the power cord. The cars are easy to get back on the track and the kit comes with replacement wires for the cars (have not yet had to change them, we have been able to reshape the current wires very easily). We did have an issue with the controllers (wire cracked, pin came off), but I emailed the customer support team email listed in the build instructions for replacement suggestions and they were quick to respond and rectified the problem immediately. This toy has gotten quite a bit of use since it has been built and excited to keep playing it together!
