It made my hair very soft and smooth and has a bit of a shine to it. Its odorless but I did inhale some of the steam when I inhale through my mouth i still feel it a bit. It does work with how thick your hair is but you might have to do at least three passes to get all of it. Love the quality. It straightens my hair without having to blow dry it although it still gets a bit frizzy.
