Battery life is still excellent, and I take great care of my expensive iPhones by using high quality cases and making sure not to ever drop them. Since my old case needed to be replaced, because it wasn't the highest quality, I opted for this brand. I had heard of it before, however, was unsure whether or not their cases would suit my needs. I had read some mixed reviews. I spent $40 on a case and ordered the cow print design. It arrived and I fell in love with how it looked. The texture on the back is mixed. The white is matte, while the black is shiny, but it doesn't bother me too much. I think one consistent texture would nevertheless be ideal. The case is easy to put on, and it protects my iPhone like a parent protects its child. :) You know it's safe and secure. It's also fun to hold and show off. The design really pops! I can't speak for scratch resistance just yet, as I've only had for a very brief amount of time, but I can say that the black part smudges easily. You can see my fingerprints after I use it. I carry a microfiber cloth to keep it clean and I disinfect my cases every couple of days, because as you know, cell phones are germ magnets. All in all, I really adore this case. It protects my iPhone, looks and is of high quality, is fun to show off and matches the AirPods case I also ordered from this brand. For those curious, it includes MagSafe charging.
