The Mercusys MS118CP 16-Port 10/100 Mbps Plus 2-Port Gigabit Rackmount Switch is designed to power and connect a dense set of network devices such as IP cameras and VoIP phones while offering flexible uplink capability. It integrates sixteen 10/100 Mbps PoE Plus RJ45 ports, two Gigabit RJ45 ports and two combo Gigabit SFP slots, delivering both power and data over Ethernet to simplify installation where local power outlets are limited. PoE auto recovery automatically reboots unresponsive powered devices to maintain stable operation without manual intervention. With a 7.2 Gbps switching capacity and support for 8, 000 MAC address entries, the switch efficiently handles multiple endpoints and its unmanaged shelf or rack-mount design enables straightforward deployment with no complex configuration required, while full compliance with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards ensures broad interoperability.
