Review: ✅ Very Fast & Stable - For the longest time, I never
bothered with wireless. As someone who games on PC, even the
slightest delay or random ping spikes would throw me off, and
sometimes something on my desk would also get thrown off. However
since I’ve moved, I decided to clean everything up better, less
cables here there & everywhere. So my setup is basically my main
internet router, with the wireless disabled. That is directly
connected to the TP-Link Archer AX20. And that is what handles
all the wireless stuff as it’s obviously better all round than a
standard internet router. Anyway with this T3U Plus connected to
5GHz, I literally get the exact same speeds and ping as a direct
Ethernet connection. My internet isn’t the fastest, but the
wireless stats are the same speeds. Maybe it’s due to WiFi 6, but
I’ll be keeping this and I can feel comfortable playing games.
Setting up was easy, just plug it into a 3.0 USB port and it’s up
and running straight away, you’ll see the WiFi icon (or search
for it) then connect. There will be a note mentioning how it can
run faster in a 3.0 USB port. I was confused as I was sure I put
it in one, and I did, the message just remains there I guess. So
yeah guys, WiFi isn’t as bad or unpredictable as it was years
ago. Overall it works well, good value for money, it’s not too
big, very happy with it.
