Review: Perfect sturdy and well assembled non-electric coffee
maker - Love it !! .. I mean what I say. It is easy to assemble,
comes with a few custom fitted filters and the basket and a
percolator crystal bulb located in the coffee pitcher section and
surrounded with a foam protector. Everything was included and
within minutes I had my first brew (after I melted down some snow
which completely surrounds my RV and gives me a huge access to
water all winter long , nifty ! Moreover, it makes excellent brew
and is ready in minutes. I cannot tell you how happy the
coffeemaker makes me. I pour into my cup then add some honey and
a little flavored cream and am ready to start my day in the
wildeness fighting bears and wildcats.. that’s my job and what I
do best… and coffee makes me alert.
Review: Induction friendly! - It works just fine on my induction
stovetop! It’s really nice to not have to deal with a cord. My
other brand had a short cord that would get caught up on things
or push/knock items around. It will also be much easier to clean
without worrying about submerging an electric area. It brews a
nice tasty, rich and smooth cup of coffee. I course grind my
beans to avoid them from escaping out of the basket. This will be
great to use on my wood-burning stove when my power goes out.
It’s also lightweight do I will use it on my gas stove in the RV,
also without needing to run the generator. It’s durable enough to
bring with me while tent camping too. My only concern is what the
black matte finish is made out of because it is not just on the
outside, the pour spout is also completely covered. I assume its
some kind of heat-treat process, but I could not find any
information about it on the box or their website. I emailed and
will update when I hear back. The fact that it is made from
stainless steel without any plastic parts is why i initially
purchased a percolator. So if the finish turns out to be some
type of yucky coating i will exchange it for the all stainless
finish. I thought it was a fair price for an American made local
product. So far I am very happy with it.
