SM-863D is a combo of infrared transmitter and wireless headphone set designed to be used for TV watching. As said, this product contains one transmitter and one under chin TV headset that must be used together. The TV listening system can only directly connect to TV's digital optical, RCA, AUX audio out jack on your TV, DVD player, AV receiver etc... With additional audio adapter, this TV hearing device can also connect to Coaxial, HDMI ARC port, HDMI port on your TV. For more information about setup, consult your TV manufacturer or Simolio. All connecting cords including TOSLINK optical cable, red/white RCA cable, AUX headphone cable are included. When using optical fiber cable to perform the connection, please set television’s digital audio format to PCM, or OFF dolby on your TV or streaming media. This TV listening device also boasts of following features: 1. Circuitry that could help make TV dialogue stand out are built-in, so you could enjoy your hard-to-understand TV programs, talk shows, series, episodes with more ease. 2. You can control the volume you'll hear by adjusting the volume control on the headset. But please note that you have to feed sufficient volume level into the transmitter base to get stable audio signal output. Otherwise audio may be intermittent or bad quality. 3. The transmitter also has three different audio profiles: normal, treble, bass. Headphone wearers can adjust the tone to best fit their listening preference and audio content. 4. One full charge lasts up to 15 hours. 5. Additional listener receiver can be added so more people can enjoy the same TV audio through one transmitter base. BEWARE BEFORE YOUR PURCHASING: The headphones must face in direct line of sight of the infrared diodes on the transmitter. If not, or if you wear the headphones while you move around the house, audio may cut in and out or you will have poor audio quality.
