This not only increases the interactivity and fun of the toy, but also stimulates imagination and creativity. Review: Cute - These were enjoyable and fun. My son lives them but they do require assembly. Review: It's not that hard. If you don't mind assembling, this is great. Maybe not for kids on their own. - It's not THAT hard to build. If you are expecting your average child to build this on their own, then don't get it. It's kinda challenging but if you don't like assembling then it's not for you. Took me maybe under an hour, but solid/sturdy because the connections are so hard to build initially, moves great. It stops at extended stretches and rotations, but for most normal positions it should be fine. It doesn't stand on its feet well though - you have to get the center of balance right, or you support it with something else like tape.
