Unlike the original BoomPro, which has an omni-directional microphone, BoomPro X features a cardioid unidirectional microphone which isolates your voice from unwanted ambient sound while enhancing your speech clarity, ensuring that you’ll be heard loud and clear in conference calls, communication on the go, and gaming sessions. Like all V-MODA products, the BoomPro X Microphone is built to last with a durable cable, gold plated plug and a flexible boom arm that can be adjusted for perfect microphone positioning. The original BoomPro’s rotary controls have been forgone for an updated streamlined minimalist design to achieve a subtle look while remaining highly functional with an in-line mute switch and volume slider. Completing BoomPro X Microphone’s new and modern look are microphone covers in 5 different colors which you can switch in and out to customize your look. The BoomPro X Microphone is compatible with all smartphones, tablets, PCs and gaming consoles via 3.5mm (1/8") plug as well as with a range of headphones including the entire V-MODA Crossfade and M series and other headphones that use a 3.5mm (1/8") cable input. The Y adapter included with the BoomPro X is for use with computers requiring separate mic and headphone inputs, while it can also be used with the latest devices with a USB-C input via a USB-C adapter (not included). BoomPro X Microphone gives ample room for reach and flexibility, with 1m of cable length and an additional 1m that can be added via the extension cable.
