No, this is NOT a heart-shaped notebook, but one with a golden heart embossed on the front. I had not realised how small A6 is. (You can see measurements on the ad.) However the tiny size makes this notebook all the more charming and portable. The colour is listed as purple, but it is a lovely lavender, cover and elastic band matching. The lines inside are quite wide apart. There is nothing else at all. None of those pages of superfluous info. I find in most/all diaries taking up space, never to be consulted. (We have Google for that kind of thing nowadays.) You have a choice of five colours. The cover can be wiped clean - important for something which may be handled every day or more. The seller says the notebook has a, "soft leather hardcover". This is not correct. The cover is stiff, making it possible to take notes without the support of a table. I am sorry the seller advertises it as leather, when of course it is PU leather / plastic. The seller claims, "180° Lay-flat Journal : The journal opens 180°, making it easy to take notes with either hand and enhancing readability." This is false. The only diaries or notebooks that truly lie flat have spiral bindings. In reality, its small size means this notebook will not be very easy to write in. This is a luxurious notebook, with a ribbon marker and an elastic band to keep it shut. The accompanying pen is colour matched. Mine has also touches of rose gold. It writes with a very fine line, which you may or may not like. The only thing missing is an elastic loop to hold the pen. This would make a perfectly acceptable gift. Even if the recipient has already got a diary, they can always use an extra notebook. Do shop around and reflect before ordering as this seller does NOT give Free Returns
