Review: Very Nice - but read the directions! - This is a cute, an innovative toy. I am lucky enough to share life with my 3 year old grandson who adores dinosaurs and he will enjoy this. But though it is a simple toy, how to operate it is not intuitive. There is a USB jack for recharging (patch cord is included) and a 3 position mode selection switch both on the underside of the dinosaur's neck. Off is for charging. Middle causes the white flashlight inside the mouth plus the 2 red LEDs in the eyes to light up. And the end position for the switch adds growling sounds to the lights. But unless you read the directions you won't know to gently press the lower jaw upward to actually turn it on in whichever function you selected with the switch. (At first I thought mine was defective when I mistook the mode selection switch for a "turn it on or off" switch.) Pressing the jaw twice quickly will make the lights and maybe the sound stay on until another press on the jaw turns them off. Pressing the jaw once will run the lights and maybe the sound for a few seconds and then shut off. If the headband becomes dirty it can be separated from the dinosaur's head and machine washed. Directions are well enough written to be understandable. One quibble, the directions refer to the RED charging LED which turns itself off when a full charge has been reached. That LED is BLUE. The detail work on the face of the dinosaur is done very well and the colors are bright. My grandson will enjoy this. But my silly dog freaked out at the flashing lights and growling noises which made me laugh. If you feel the need for a dinosaur toy this is a nice one to have. 5 stars for sure.
