Review: 延長ケーブルだから何の疑いもなく繋いだが、つながらない。内部配線図は無いからどうなってるか不明だが、つながらない。miniHDMLの延長ケーブルとして機能しない。 Review: The Soundblaster AE-9 has an audio control module (ACM) that plugs into the soundcard via a mini hdmi connection. The connection power the module too. Despite being quite expensive, the connection to the soundcard was weak as the plug with very slight variance would not power the ACM. From looking online, it appears that you can replace that cable from the ACM to the with a normal mini hdmi cable. I bought this to test where the issue was. Was it the port on the soundcard or the actual connnector from the cable. Turns out it was the actual cable. The original cable snapped well into this extender with a firm hold and the male part of this extender fit right into the soundcard. Now even moving the cable, the power stays on. After doing sound checks and microphone checks, it all sound very good. Overall I am very happy with this extender. It saved me time and fortunately fixed my issue. I could attempt to replace the total cable, but if I don't need to open up the ACM, I might as well not risk it.
