I expected the image quality from the camera to be pretty bad and thought the app would be a buggy oie e of junk... I'm very pleasantly surprised by both. The image is crisp and clear and can focus down to about 5mm. The led lights are infinitely adjustable and are definitely bright enough for any situation considering this is a close-up camera. The online remote control works great with a wheel for adjusting light brightness and a button for taking photos or videos depending on what's selected in the app. The app itself is works far better than I expected it to and happily doesn't ask for any overreaching permissions. Setup was simple... Install the app.... Open it... Plug in the cameras and it detects it straight away with the option to open the app every time you plug the endoscope in.... Very handy. The app is simple but has every option I'm ever going to need... You can switch between photo or video mode and the gallery for viewing captures of either. You can rotate the live image, mirror flip it, switch between grey scale and colour etc and it all works really well. It comes in a drawstring carry bag with adapters for USB-C > lightning and USBC-C ->micro USB plus a few attachments which look really useful; a 90⁰ periscope mirror, a hook and a magnet for fishing things out... I'm sure they will all come in handy at some point. I haven't tested the waterproofness yet but I'm sure that will be ok, when the time comes. All in all, up to now, I'm really impressed at how well it works considering the price and if it lasts as long as it should then it's worth every penny of the full price too... If it lasts. It seems decently well built so no reason why it shouldn't. Brilliant little tool/gadget. Review: A great, easy to use device - Camera works well in both light and dark conditions. Defijition good. Hook, mirror and magnet attachments screw on securely and will be handy. The App seems pretty foolproof; just needs camera permissions set up. Perfect and good value.
