Review: Fantastic Frames!!! - If you are considering purchasing these frames… please read my review… I purchased several packages of these frames in multiple colors (HOPING they would be what I was looking for!)!!! Indeed they turned out to be! Do NOT let the words “engineered wood” turn you away, OR “acrylic glass”! These frames seem very durable! As for the acrylic PLEXIGLASS… you will find it PERFECTLY and crisply clear! Both sides of the acrylic plexiglass comes with a coating that you peel off AFTER YOUR FRAMES ARRIVE, thusly, it comes fingerprint free (as long as you are careful not to put any smudges on it!)! I also love that you have the option of using the enclosed mat! Just a side note: the appropriate “bevel” is on the white side of the mat, BUT you have several options (hope this is not too confusing!)… on the opposite side of the white mat, you shall find an off white side! Another option (of course!) is to NOT USE the mat, at all, BUT for those of you that just don’t even consider this (betting all of you would think of it is, but simply trying to help out!) there is ALSO THE OPTION OF PLACING YOUR ART ON TOP OF WHICHEVER SIDE of the mat you choose (gleaming white, or off white) and then, after centering your art how you do desire, from the back of the mat, you simply put little pieces of clear tape to hold your art in place, and none be the wiser as to your little secret! You have an invisible border (as long as you have used a ruler to square off the edges of your artwork!!!) and TA~DA!!! You shall have a MASTERPIECE!!! For just a fraction of the price (and don’t we all feel the cost 💲 of EVERYYING rising these days!!!)!!! Have LOVED each and every color I have purchased!!! Highly recommend these!!!
