Convert your vehicle’s factory-installed wired Apple CarPlay system into a convenient wireless connection with this compact CarPlay adapter for iPhone. Once paired, the adapter automatically reconnects to the previously connected iPhone whenever the vehicle starts, removing the need to plug in a phone cable before every journey.
Fast Wireless Connection
The initial connection takes approximately 10 seconds, while subsequent automatic reconnection takes approximately 3 seconds. The upgraded chipset combines 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 to provide a stable, low-latency connection for navigation, music, hands-free calls, messages and Siri.
Retains Original Vehicle Functions
Continue using compatible functions of the vehicle’s original infotainment system, including the touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons, rotary control knob and built-in microphone. The adapter converts the connection method from wired to wireless without replacing the original CarPlay interface.
Plug and Play Installation
No additional application or driver installation is required. Connect the adapter to the vehicle’s CarPlay data port, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the iPhone, and complete the initial pairing. The adapter will then reconnect automatically whenever the vehicle starts.
Compact and Durable Design
Measuring only 5 x 3 x 0.8 cm, the adapter occupies minimal space around the centre console. Integrated heat-dissipation vents help manage operating temperature during extended use. The connector has passed more than 10,000 insertion tests and the adapter is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C.
OTA Firmware Update
OTA firmware updates and adjustable audio-streaming settings are available for compatible troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
Compatibility Notice
This adapter works only with vehicles that already have factory-installed wired Apple CarPlay. It does not add CarPlay to an unsupported vehicle and it is not compatible with Android Auto. The vehicle USB port must support CarPlay data transmission rather than charging only.
For vehicles manufactured before 2019, confirm that wired Apple CarPlay is available before purchasing. Selected Nissan vehicles manufactured from 2018 to 2020 may require an additional USB Y-split cable.
