This case is well made, and uses a reasonable gauge (around 1mm) steel. There are no sharp edges anywhere. The powder coating is also good quality. It is plenty rigid once assembled and I can easily pick up the case with one hand to move it around without fear of it bending or distorting. It's obviously not really much of a looker - it's a test bench! While it does come with a power button, there is no way to mount it to the case that I found, and you have to either improvise or just leave it dangling. I wish it came with a little bracket so I could mount somewhere on the case. The instructions are decently descriptive and if you pay attention to the pictures they are easy to follow. I do wish they separated out the two models described in the instructions though - initially I thought I was missing a few pieces but they simply were not part of the model I have. The screws are a bit stiff to run down the first time, but I did not have any trouble with any of the mounting holes stripping or cross-threading the screws. All of the holes aligned perfectly for my set of hardware and it all went together without any issues. Even the power supply feels really firmly mounted. I'd call that a win for versatility and functionality. All in all it's a great product and a really inexpensive way to make a home lab rack (apparently these are stackable!) or just save space if you have a few desktop systems thanks to the small footprint. Review: Sturdy. Good frame for frequent board changes and testing. - Nice frame. Uses standard computer screws, no weird sizes. Hex heads are 1/4" so yay! Frame goes together nicely. double screws in the corners make it sturdy. I only found 2 screw holes for the power supply for my ATX board. There seems to be proper Mboard layouts for other sizes besides ATX. Frame seems to allow for a plywood top if desired. Instructions were not real clear. photos were smaller and dark. Figuring out board placement gets easier when you notice the slots for pci cards on the edge of the base. That detail isnt mentioned at all in the instructions. My kit was missing parts according to my instructions but that was more likely due to the instructions not keeping up with shipping changes. It was usable when completed. No place for any peripherals except for screw holes on the base. All in, worth the effort.
