If you set up the area you want to protect it actually works in that area . It's set up is easy when you realise you need to go into your router and turn off 5g , only leave 2.4g on if you only have 2.4g then it's easy for you and you don't need to do any of this. Set up the camera then after you have set it up go back into your router and switch it back to 5g. All done . Sounds complicated but easy when you get going. I was so happy with mine I actually bought another one and now looking at the imou door bell.
