Review: Great Quality - Versatile - I’ve been looking for a
family sized camping cook kit for ages, so was delighted when I
saw this one, particularly as it is extremely good value for
money. I have paid more than this for single person cook kits in
the past, so to get a four-person at this price is great. The kit
packs away to a small size (about 19cm by 14cm), meaning you will
have no issue finding space for it, particularly if you are
travelling as a group or have a vehicle. So how do they cook? In
short, very well on gas or a stove. I do all sorts of hiking and
camping, sometimes I go ultra-lightweight and cook over tiny gas
burners, other times I take a wood-stove and cook on that, and
sometimes I cook on an open-fire. In my experience of these pans,
they are ideal for boiling water from any heat source (just be
aware that flames may damage the handles). When it comes to
actually cooking food, then they are best on a heat source you
can control, ideally gas. I found it quite difficult to prevent
food from catching on an open fire, but I’m not too proud to rule
out a skill issue! The bowls and accessories are a reasonable
size and quality, certainly good enough for a backpacking trip,
although for a week on a camp-site you may prefer something a
little bigger. Overall, this is a superb quality, group or family
cook kit that will last for years if properly cared for.
Review: Lightweight but well built - This really is a complete
all in ine set if you love hiking and camping. Its very
lightweight but also a very sturdy build so easy to carry and yet
built.to last years. Cones well boxed and in a net bag inside so
easy to pack up ready for a trip and takes up very little space .
It includes 2 Pots, 1 Pan, 1 Kettle, 5 Bowls, 3 Plates, a Soup
Ladle, a Rice Scoop and a Set of utensils all of which are good
quality and the perfect size for camping . You can easily.cook
most meals with this set id say and its very easy to wash and dry
too. Nothing stuck on this set so no ruined food and the handles
that fold in for storage are very sturdy when in use. This is an
excellent price for the set you get and nice to have pretty much
everything you'll.need all.in one place . Ideal for a small
family or couple with ease . Love the colours and style hut live
the weight and small space it takes up when hiking. Love this and
w9uld highly recommend it . Our garden camp out t9 try this was
great fun and was a great success thanks to this set
