Years ago I had a Google Cardboard viewer, which was fun but limited in use. I had expected that things might've improved since then, but it appears services for this type of device have actually gotten worse (for example, Google themselves appear to have removed the ability to use Streetview with Google Cardboard, which was one of the things I was looking forward to trying). I've had a good search and haven't found any decent applications which harness the potential of phone based VR systems. The device works exactly as expected, and feels nice and sturdy, the remote works well enough. Unfortunately, it's a case of the software letting down the hardware. I am limited to IOS, so maybe Android users might have a better experience. I have still awarded 5 stars for the quality of the device itself. Review: Easy to set up and use, great build quality and has amazing picture. Not too big and clunky, stays on and functions as described. Highly recommend!!
