In the 4th Expansion towers and crooks for the award-winning family game Carcassonne (Game of the Year 2001) builds her towers and places guards on them. The towers are contested, because crooks strike unexpectedly. Place your guards in time, because when they discover the crooks you will receive points as a reward. Escaped crooks steal your plates. Piece by piece, your towers grow so that your guards stay ready for use. In the optional plate dispenser tower, your tile stacks find their own place.

With this version, the classic gets a new look: all Carcassonne extensions shine fresh and impress with modern artwork and graphics. The cover illustrations of all 10 expansions together create a stunning panorama. The tiles have also been brightened, but remain in the usual design, and are therefore still compatible with the existing games and expansions. In addition, the instructions have been made clearer. In each expansion, there are small to large content changes - and another, collectable river tile.
