It comes with 2 Li-Po 7.4v 850mAh batteries along with a USB charging lead with an inline inverter to enable charging from a 5V supply. This lead takes the standard 5V output from the USB supply and inverts it up to 7.5V As the USB port only puts out 5V. This is really useful as it allows charging from a power bank when away from a mains power source.. Batteries last about 20 minutes on normal use but over heavy terrain this time is reduced. The battery is held firmly in place to the chassis by a Velcro strap. The car itself is really rapid with a top speed of around 22mph but it can be run in a slower mode from the speed switch on top of the remote. You can also reverse the steering direction which is quite challanging as your brain needs to thing in reverse. There are other switches for callibration and trimming. It comes with a sheet of stickers that can be stuck onto the body shell after the plastic covering film is peeled off of it. This shell is moulded as a complete unit and is removed by pulling out the 4 retaining clips to reveal the chassis. This gives access to the battery compartment and allows access to the independant adjustable suspension shock absorbers. The tyres are hollow but not pressurised so form part of the ovrall suspension system. The build quality is superb with an upmarket look and feel about it. The remote is very smooth and precise so is definitely analogue as opposed to digital. The molti language user manual is quite detailed with ten pages dedicated to english. In summary, this is a well made and highly configurable RC truck that is great fun to drive. Worth shortlisting.
