Needed something collapsible/portable but with long playtime potential for the plane (and cleanable, which meant plushies were out) and she was too young for stickers at 9 months. Good news was this provided a TON of fun for her on a 6 hour plane trip and not a single cry (we’re hoping it wasn’t a one-time thing lol). It fits down into a cube but the multiple puzzles kept her entertained for the entire trip. We even bring it along to restaurant trips for when she gets bored as we eat, since the little string allows it to be clipped most anywhere. Different puzzles can be noisy, but we prefer clicks to cries. Definitely good for 9 month olds, but at 15 months she has learned more of the puzzles and still loves it. I wish they’d make more of these with more puzzle ideas! We like to use the cat-mouse slider to sing “hickory dickory dock” to her, she’s not into the carrot-match-up puzzle yet, but she loves the spinners and the push-in citrus fruits puzzle. And the mirror - she kisses her reflection out so cute. She also enjoys “wrapping it up” and learning how to fold it up (accordion style) to put it back into its cube form.
