I went over the hull twice with the large 8inch pad and it brought it back to nearly new. Two passes over the hull probably equates to something like 260sq metres so quite a good test and the machine worked flawlessly. Probably the best feature is the digital speed control followed by the soft start. The soft start means there’s no “Kick” when starting off and it reduces the newly applied polish flying off the pad and splattering everything in its wake! The digital push buttons for speed are a revelation after the old rotary dial. Wherever there was a badly oxidised area i could simply dab the increase speed button without stopping or taking the polisher off the surface. I think you can tell from the above that I am pleased with the polisher. The big test now is longevity. I’ve had cheap polishers give up after just a couple of yacht polishes. I just hope this continues to work for a few years more. Review: worth the price - little heavy but not noticable in use, good product
