DL4 FE is a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified drive based on a powerful AES 256bit hardware encryption architecture. Security can be increased again by approving or prohibiting use by automated policies, depending on location, use and type of data stored. Data lock means simplest security. This means everything you need to encrypt sensitive data has been integrated into the FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and Common Criteria certified DL4 FE. No drivers, no complex configuration. The unavoidable hardware-based AES-256bit encryption in an easy-to-use user interface, as well as additional protection through a series of automatic security policies, is available immediately. Stand-alone performance features administrators can set strict password policies (non-consecutive, non-repeating special characters, minimum). If a user forgot their password, administrators can unlock the DL4 FE with the admin password. The user must then assign a new password the next time. Using SilentKill, allow your users to destroy the device or stored data unnoticed in a threat situation by entering a dedicated code. Central management performance features Use DataLocker SafeConsole to apply dozens of automated password policies. This means that e.g. the password complexity, brute force protection, limited access exclusively to trusted systems and the integrated anti-malware scanner. In addition, functions such as locking, erasing, sanitising or detonating the drive can be enabled remotely.
