The CHERRY SECURE BOARD 1.0 is a wired keyboard with an integrated reader for smartcards and cards/tags with RF/NFC interface. For additional security and trust, the keyboard can be switched to a secure mode. The device can now prove its authenticity based on certificates and key transmission is encrypted. This means that hardware keyloggers have no chance and by blocking the standard keyboard channel, ‘bad USB attacks’ are no longer possible. Thin clients that have the necessary software integrated are particularly suitable for using these functions.
