A full-length twin-deck aircraft was officially revealed to the world for the first time at a ceremony to be held in the Jean-Luc Lagardere Final Assembly Line hall at Toulouse, France. More than 4,500 guests attended this event. The A380 reveal will also mark the launch of Airbus' new livery. The change in livery, the first since the A310. My 14 year old grandson has been able to slowly, but accurately build the kit in order to add it to his collection. It does take patience, but these kits really do encourage engineering style methodology and instils new skills. Not for the faint hearted, but a great kit producing a beautifully accurate model. Review: 3 weeks of building this one - This is a Revell model with loads of tiny, fiddly bits to fit together and paint. This model is not for children to do and certainly not to play with. That said it took me 3 weeks to build and paint but it loved it, the model has lots of fine details and intricate building to do so well worth the effort.
