Lightweight which is no bad thing but not essential for me as it's for the boat but good for camping folk. The 2 litre size is smaller than my previous 2.5 litre kettle which I prefer but possibly a little small for larger groups of 4 or more but perfect for 1 or 2 people plus washing up water or spare to top up the tea/coffee pot.
