Audiosavings RM68SP - 6.5 inch Surround Sound

Introducing the new Rockville Super Performance Midrange speakers. Super Performance is how we define the audio response of these incredible midranges. Rockville engineers really created something unique by designing a one-piece rounded bullet with a secondary dual cone, which dials in precise and clear midrange frequencies, extending the vocal range and increasing SPL with out any added distortion when pushed hard. The combination of the flat foam surround and linear progressive spider allows these midranges to perform as high compression drivers without any harshness typically found in the 1KHz region of other mids. The sound is so realistic - ultra smooth and with lots of power handling capability. These are definitely one of the best sounding midranges that we have ever tested. The RM68SP has pre-wired high quality capacitor crossovers built into the speaker which prevents it from playing frequencies that can damage the speaker. This helps the speaker to last longer as well as produce a better sound quality. The speakers have large 60 oz. magnet motor structures with oversized 1.5" high temperature CCAR voice coils. These speakers are hand built (not by machines) and special care goes into each and every speaker. These are built by audiophiles who love speakers. When we underwent our vigorous quality control standards we had no negative comments to tell the factory. These came out perfect. The super shallow mounting depth facilitates easy fit in to door installations or in other tight locations. Lots of custom installations required a very shallow mounting depth. Fort this reason we built these with a 2.2" shallow mounting depth so that these can fit in any door installation or for any other custom install. We made sure we did not sacrifice any sound quality for mounting depth. After testing these we were just amazed at how good they sound.
