At the beginning of the Meiji era, Japan begins to modernize and open itself to foreign influences. The small fishing town of Yokohama is quickly becoming an important shopping mall and attracting merchants from all over the country. In this rich historical context, you embody a merchant determined to build a thriving trade empire. The game takes place in four seasons, with each season representing a year from the Meiji era. Your goal is to maximize your influence and wealth by walking through the busy streets of Yokohama, leading your assistants to the best trade counters, and building relationships with foreign ministers. PLACEMENT OF WORKERS Strategically deploy your assistants in the various neighborhoods of Yokohama to carry out various actions such as acquiring goods, building buildings and learning new technologies. Resource Management Collect valuable resources such as copper and raw silk and use them to complete orders and earn victory points. Timing Planning Each round allows you to perform important actions and additional actions. Position your assistants, move them efficiently and use the skills of the industries to optimize your profits. During the game, you must fill out orders, build trading houses and businesses, and complete achievements to earn victory points. The game ends when a player has built all of their buildings, exhausted his folder cards, or fulfilled certain conditions for assistants.
