Take your smart robot car to the next level with the ACEBOTT
Robotic Arm Expansion Kit — a powerful add-on designed to extend
functionality, learning depth, and long-term play value. This
expansion transforms your existing robot into a hands-on robotics
kit capable of real object manipulation. Featuring 5 metal gear
servo motors, the arm delivers smooth and precise 5-DOF movement.
The gripper opens up to 260°, while the wrist, elbow, and base
rotate up to 180°, allowing kids to grab, lift, rotate, and place
objects with confidence — just like real robotic systems used in
engineering and automation. Powered by an ESP32 controller, this
coding robot kit supports a complete learning journey. Kids can
follow 16 structured, story-based tutorials that gradually
introduce robotics concepts, motion control, and programming
logic. Teacher materials and PPT slides are included, making it
ideal for families, classrooms, STEM clubs, and training centers
looking for reliable stem kits for kids. The robotic arm supports
multiple control options, including mobile app and remote
control, helping learners quickly see results while staying
engaged. Programming support includes Scratch & ACEcode for
beginners, as well as Arduino and Python for advanced users —
turning this into a flexible arduino kit suitable for long-term
growth. Compatible with computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones,
and web-based coding platforms, this expansion is perfectly
suited for robotics for kids ages 12–16 and arduino kits for
teens who want more than a one-time build. Assembly is simple,
and all resources — from build videos to detailed coding guides —
are available on the ACEBOTT official website. Kids spend less
time struggling and more time creating, experimenting, and
learning. If you’re looking for a meaningful STEM upgrade that
grows with your child, this robotic arm expansion is the perfect
addition to any stem robot kit — combining fun, education, and
real engineering skills in one powerful package.
Review: Fun add on! - I picked up this robotic arm to pair with
the STEM car from the same company. Compared to the car itself,
this component was much simpler and more straightforward to
assemble. While there are online instructions available, the
overall setup process for the arm was fairly easy to follow. That
said, since this is designed to work alongside the more complex
car build, I still feel there should be a recommended age range
provided. The car requires a higher level of patience and
understanding, which may make the full experience challenging for
younger users. Although I found it fun and engaging, my daughter
quickly lost interest due to the difficulty of the overall
project. Because of this, I would suggest this add-on — and
especially the combined build — for adults or young adults who
enjoy hands-on STEM-style projects and don’t mind a bit of a
learning curve.
Review: Easy to complete, better to buy alongside the main robot
car kit! - As advertised, this robot arm kit is an add-on for a
separate smart robot car kit offered by the manufacturer,
ACEBOTT. You can technically do without the aforementioned but
it's somewhat of a hassle to do so as the buyer would also need a
separate Arduino or its clone chips and an external power source
just to get the servos working. The building aspect itself isn't
all that hard at all as the point here is really on the
software-side to introduce a child to the world of coding in a
more tangible fashion with all of the fun and interactivity of
playing with a remote control toy. Again, the build itself isn't
all that hard but as it deals with tiny bolts and screws, adult
supervision is a must in my opinion. 5/5 stars from me. I'd get
it on a sale alongside the main car kit for a full ride.
