LEDELIRANT Barricade

The game Barricade or Malefiz or Malefitz originated in Germany. Material: 20 pieces of 4 different colours (5x4), 11 barricades, 1 dice, 1 game board, 1 game rule in French. GOAL OF THE GAME: The winner is the one who brings the first one of the 5 pieces of his color to the finish square by drawing the exact number on the die to achieve it. START OF PART: We roll the die in turn, the one with the strongest number starts the game and plays the figure obtained on the dice. All the checkers start from the first black square located just in front of the starting square, the colored boxes do not count. It is not mandatory to put all your pawns into play. MOVEMENT: All pieces can move in any direction: forward, backward, right or left. It is forbidden to change direction during the same move, for example: forward and then backward. The number of points obtained on the die must be played entirely. A 6 does NOT give the right to replay. You can overtake your pawns and those of the opponents. BEAT THE ADVERSES PIONS: If a pawn completes its movement on a square already occupied by an opponent's pawn, the latter is removed from the board and returns to its starting square. BARRICADES: Barricades are obstacles that cannot be jumped. To cross a barricade, the movement of one of your pawns must end exactly on the square of the barricade. In this case, the player removes the barricade and places it immediately on another free square of his choice except for the first row of squares from the start.
