The automatic features of this Gigabit switch make installation hassle-free thanks to plug and play. No configuration is required. Auto-MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto tuning on each port detects the connection speed of a network device (10, 100 or 1000Mbps) and intelligently adjusts to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. The compact chassis makes it ideal for the desktop with limited space, while it can also be conveniently and securely mounted on a rack. Dynamic LEDs provide status indicator and basic fault diagnosis in real time.

The TL-SG1048 offers a non-blocking switching architecture at cable speed with 96Gbps switching capacity to achieve maximum data throughput. An 8k MAC address table allows scalability for the largest networks. It also supports 802.3X flow control for full duplex mode and backpressure for half-duplex mode, which alleviates data congestion and ensures secure data transfer.
