LEDELIRANT BOBAIL

Here is a game that we were brought back from Africa but originated in Germany. A very original pawn move where each of the 2 players will have to move first the Bobail (white pawn) and then one of its pawns and that in 2 different ways. An original strategy for quick games.

Simple to play with children, but a mechanic evil enough for adults. Since 2009, we have introduced this little-known game to our customers, an exclusive LEDELIRANT, the specialist in wooden games and puzzles.

Rules of the game: Each of the 2 players has 5 colored pieces (red or yellow). A white pawn called "the Bobail" is placed in the center of the board. Goal of the game (2 opportunities to win): - Lead the Bobail (the white pawn) instead of one of his starting pawns - Block the Bobail to prevent the other player from moving it A game turn: At the beginning of his turn, a player will have to move the Bobail and then one of his pawns. Exception: On his first move, the player who starts the game will only move one of his pieces and will not move the Bobail Move: The Bobail moves one square at a time in any direction (horizontally, vertically or diagonally). The other pieces must move as many squares as possible in any direction until they encounter an obstacle (edge of the board or a square occupied by another pawn). Scalable: A "strategic variant" of these rules is also proposed in the rule that comes with the game.
