With PCIe 5.0 support that enables transfer speeds of up to 128Gbps per drive across two MCIO 8i (SFF-TA-1016) ports, a redesigned, airflow-optimized and lightweight aluminum chassis, the MB699V5P-B is built for mission-critical applications in servers, workstations and compact systems where maximum speed, security and reliability are crucial . With PCIe 5.0 that delivers up to 128Gbps per SSD, the MB699V5P-B offers twice the bandwidth of PCIe 4.0 and is four times faster than PCIe 3.0. The ToughArmor EZ-Slide Mini Trays support all standard 7mm and 15mm U.2/U.3 SSDs. The slot design allows the use of drives with heights between 5 mm and 15 mm. The MB699V5P-B's dual PCB horizontal layout greatly improves airflow compared to the previous generation. Two 40×40×10mm fans and a lightweight all-aluminum housing provide reliable thermal management for PCIe 5.0 SSDs under continuous load.
