The new Vive Cosmos is a portable VR solution developed for gamers in the high-end range, which has been specially developed for ergonomics and comfort during longer gaming sessions. However, one of the biggest innovations in the Vive Cosmos is its unique flip design: it allows the visor to be folded up 100°, so you can return to the rality at any time without having to take off the complete headset. Six cameras on the outside of the VR headset allow a 6DoF tracking solution that works easily without external sensors and tedious setup of the game environment. Inside, clearer lenses and an IPD adjustment - to adjust the lenses to the user's pupil distance - ensure the best possible ergonomics for the eyes. And to also improve posture and muscles while wearing, the classic "strap" design has been changed with a band around the head to a "halo" design that now better distributes the weight of the headset over the head.
