In 2012, the brand was born in Chengdu, its name inspired by the Buddhist scripture “Among three thousand rivers, I take but one ladleful,” embodying its founding vision to cultivate the digital audio field and refine products into “small yet exquisite works of art.” Guided by the philosophy of “Dare to Be Different,” the brand boldly explores new technologies, materials, and craftsmanship. It is dedicated to creating acoustic products that deliver exceptional sound quality, distinctive design, and outstanding build quality, enabling everyone to enjoy a uniquely personalized musical experience.

In 2015, Chengdu Ruoshui Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established. Ruoshui Shisha, its consumer-grade digital audio brand, offers a product portfolio spanning headphones, upgrade cables, accessories, and high-end custom solutions. Tracing its origins, the brand was co-founded by two audio-obsessed tech enthusiasts who embarked on their independent design and R&D journey in 2012. Acoustic design is co-led by former Fenda engineer Xie Yu and founder Long Yu: Xie Yu, who contributed to the development of Sennheiser IE7, IE8, and B&O A8, specializes in dynamic driver research; Long Yu personally oversees the tuning of balanced armature drivers and finished headphones. Together, they have shaped the brand's signature sound profile—highly detailed, versatile, and prioritizing vocal clarity—gradually cultivating a distinctive acoustic culture.
