ZNZNANG Outdoor Stainless Steel Kettle,1.2L Mountaineering Camping Teapot,Portable Hanging Pot Cookware Coffee Pot Picnic Pot : desertcart.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors Review: small but mighty camping kettle - so... it's just arrived and i wasted no time trying it out. slightly smaller than my regular camping kettle and I filled more than the recommended 700ml, i did about a litre of water for this initial test. i used the smallest burner on the hob, brought it up to a rolling boil and kept it at a vigorous boil for 10 mins. all the handles were in the up/out positions and whilst they get warm, it's not uncomfortably so. left in the closed positions they will get HOT! The 15 holes in the spout are a little too small (maybe 2mm each), but water pours nicely, if a bit slowly. but this applies to steam too, the lid popped up slightly to release the steam pressure a couple of times. maybe i'll look into drilling them out to 3mm later, if i have a tool small enough?? i've added some pictures for reference, but this could easily heat up 2 tins of beans/chilli etc Overall, with this first test i am very satisfied. this is going to be used with a chafing fuel can as a backup camping stove and i should be able to fit a couple of fuel cans inside the kettle for easy storage too! I tried to make this a comprehensive review, it seems good value, quite functional, light and easy to clean and i'd definitely recommend it :) Review: Good for putting things in - Nice little thing , solid enough and what not . Had to machine out the perforations in the spout as they were just too fine and didn't let it pour quick enough for my liking . But overall pretty good stuff . The spoon is brilliant . Solid stuff . I use it for my noodles at work
