Very happy with product even better that it has two microphones! Very good audio 5 star Review: Works straight away. A great bit of kit - This Lavalier mic arrived this morning. I plugged it into my Huawei pro Anndroid phone not really expecting much for £10. How wrong I was. First make sure your receiver is fully pushed into the usb socket on your phone. As soon as the phone was switched on two lights start to flash on the receiver. I switched on one of the transmitters ( the on /off switch is at the back), just hold is for 2 or 3 seconds and those lights will flash then only one light is on showing connection is made. There is nothing to do. I clipped the transmitter onto the collar of my jumper and first used the 'Zoom' microphone app and made a short recording which was very clear and with plenty of volume. I did notice that if I brought the phone close to my body there was an echo. Don't worry though that was the only time. I next used it with the phone's camera app. Again this was very clear and loud with no other noise or hiss. I left the phone on the dining room table and walked round to the lounge putting a brick wall between the transmitter and receiver, again reception was perfect. I played the recording back and there was no loss of signal when I was the other side of the wall. I then did the same thing with a more advanced camera app called 'Open Camera' again reception was absolutly perfect with no distorsion or noise. I cannot tell you how good this mic is, I have used various types in my time and this is the best without a doubt. I didn't mess or try any settings as there was no need. Just plug and play for £10 is fantastic. I did also try the second transmitter and that worked just the same. I am thinking of buying another as a spare set.. I hope there is a way to use it on a camera as well, that would be the icing on the very nice cake. Buy it. I am just an desertcart customer giving an honest review. Thanks Update. Re the echo on the 'Zoom' app i admit I don't know anything about mic settings but the the app I found a button for total reset so I pressed it. now there isn't any echo when the phone is close to you. I let it run for twenty minutes while watching the world athletics champion ships. It continued to record even when the phone went to sleep. Also i left the phone running in the lounge and walked through the hall and two rooms away with the mic on my lapel. When I played back the recordings there wasn't any degrade in the signal. The Android zoom app seems very good as well and works with this mic .I looked in the app store for others but most have adverts and you had to pay. Not so with 'Zoom'
