The Lord of the Rings: Tales from Middle-earth Gift Edition is the perfect gift for fans of both Magic and The Lord of the Rings. This box is packed with Lord of the Rings themed Magic Jewels including a collector's envelope with 15 cards, filled with rare cards (between 5 and 7 rare cards or a higher rarity in each envelope) and glitter foil cards (total 8-10 traditional foil cards and 1 possible foil emerge card). This collector's envelope may contain a serial ring card, including serial copies of the Solar Ring with Elvish, Dwarf, and Human Alternative Art as well as the serial ring as 1 of 1. Serial copies of the Elvish, Dwarf, and Human Sun Ring can only be found in some Lord of the Rings Collector Envelopes: Tales from Middle-earth. Only one copy of the ring serial as 1 of 1 was printed and this letter can only be found in an English collector envelope. Non-serial ring cards are mechanically identical to their serial counterparts. The odds that a collector envelope will include the ring card serial as 1 of 1 are <0.00003%. The odds of getting a serial copy of the Solar Ring foil are as follows: Elven Ring Art, <0.01%; Dwarf Ring Art, <0.025%; and Human Ring Art, <0.03%. The gift bundle also includes 8 edition envelopes (the best envelopes to open for fun), 4 traditional Mt of Destiny scene cards without border, 40 basic ground cards (20 traditional foil and 20 non-foil), 1 exclusive oversized Spindown Life Counter, 1 foil letter holder and 2 reference cards. The included 4 Mount of Destiny scene cards are alternate art versions of Frodo, Sauron's Ruin; Samsagaz the Fearless, Gollum, Patient Machiner, and The One Ring. (The One Ring Destiny Mount scene card is not the ring card serial as 1 of 1, although they are mechanically identical.) Each edition envelope contains 12 Magic cards, 1 art card, and 1 token, advertising card, help letter or List card (a special Magic story card that can be obtained in 25% of envelopes). Each edition envelope contains at least 1 traditional foil card and a total of between 1 and 4 rare or higher rarity cards. The Ring card serial as 1/1 has no unique mechanics.
