Straight out of the box it was very easy to set up. Starting with pairing the remote over our WiFi was really easy. With the built in auto focus the projector adjusted itself in seconds. There are manual settings for focus and 4 point adjustment for keystone too. It has inbuilt Netflix, Prime Video, Disney and YouTube pre loaded on the projector and the remote control. Other apps can be added later if you wish. It has 1 HDMI, 1 USB and a headphone socket, so you can connect a games machine, a TV stick, laptop or DVD player. The USB can be used for a memory stick with suitable audio or video content. A mobile phone, tablet or laptop can also be cast / screen mirrored through the menu options. Most of the settings are automatic but I'm a bit old school and like to manually adjust settings. Once adjusted to your liking they stay set, so no worries about it not being set up next time. We were stunned by just how good the projected images were. I have added a few photos which are on a beige wall and they are about an 8 foot image. The brightness and colours are rich, detailed and very pleasing. These were all taken during the day using the inbuilt YouTube, with the curtains closed, so would be even better in a darkened room. The audio is pretty decent but you can add an external speaker or soundbar connected via bluetooth. Or even more old school a wired speaker using the 3.5mm jack. So we are very happy with our new little projector which is bound to get some use over the Christmas period. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants that big screen experience without breaking the bank. The picture quality is sharp and bright enough to use comfortably in the evening without fully blacking out the room. Colours are clean, focus is easy to adjust, and once it’s set up, it stays consistent. It doesn’t feel flimsy or toy-like, which is usually the risk at this price point. Bluetooth works reliably for connecting speakers or headphones, and the built-in sound is acceptable if you don’t want extra equipment. Setup was straightforward and quick. It feels practical rather than gimmicky, and it actually gets used regularly rather than being left in a cupboard. For the price, this projector punches above its weight. It does what it claims, works smoothly, and doesn’t feel like a compromise. I’m happy with the purchase.
