These are actually pretty great for that. The ear hook design is comfortable enough that I forget I am wearing them after a while, which is a big win for my daily routine. The sound quality is clear for both the mic and the speaker, so my team can hear me perfectly fine without any background noise issues. Since it is a single sided headset, I can still hear what is going on in my office while staying focused on my tasks. It works right out of the box with my laptop and has been a solid addition to my workspace setup. I am definitely sticking with these for all my remote meetings moving forward. Review: Works well, Plug & Play, with a minor mechanical issue. - This headset worked well well my various PCs/Laptops and even my Samsung phone. Pretty much plug & play all around. The earphone audio has good fidelity and the microphone, mounted on an adjustable boom, is noise cancelling, which helped with various background noises, and produces good audio as heard by the party on the other end of the call, whether on a phone or via a PC. The USB A connector required a USB-A to USB-C adapter (which I happened to have) to plug into my Samsung phone. I would expect most contemporary phones with a USB C or USB mini, would likely work with this headset. The inline volume control has a Mute indicator LED showing red/purple when muted, blue when unmuted, on the in-line volume control module. The control module features Mic mute, Earphone mute as well as volume control. The over-the-ear headset is quite comfortable to wear. There is only one area for improvement I found with the headset, that being the over-the-ear mechanical attachment to the earphone/mic element. It can swivel with side to side head movements if the cord is left to hang loosely rather than being clipped up near the neckline of a shirt to take the weight of the entire cable off of the earpiece. However, when the cable is clipped up that high on the shirt, the volume control is difficult to see. The cord clip that comes with the headset should be swapped out by the manufacturer with one designed to work with the thinner cable above the volume control so that the volume control can hang well below it and easily seen. But, that's just my opinion. Overall I like this headset. If you typically use a Bluetooth headset, this one can serve as an alternative or backup. I get frustrated at those times when one of my devices, such as the truck radio, keeps taking control of my Bluetooth earbud while listening to to my phone when I start up the truck. Also, Bluetooth headphones/earbuds are known for not always providing solid connections or acceptable sound quality. I've worked remotely for some companies where they frown on the use of Bluetooth headsets for conference calls for that very reason. This headset will serve well in those situations.
